About Coach Byron
Born in 1989, and grew up in Pinetown, Durban. Byron went to school at Sutherland High and Matriculated in 2006. He studied a B-Tech Degree in Sport Officiating and Coaching and completed his PGA Club Professional Diploma at Tshwane University of Technology in 2010.
Byron has worked at multiple top Country Clubs throughout the country, namely: Mt Edgecombe CC, Umhlali CC, Blue Valley CC and the Els Club, Copperleaf. Byron has been working alongside John Dickson since February 2017 and running all the junior, ladies, and introductory golf programs.
Byron’s passion is Junior Golf and to develop and grow the next generation of golfers. “I love making the game fun and exciting for junior golfers and beginners to learn in a friendly environment”. Byron’s energy and focus on junior golf has been rewarded by him winning multiple Awards.
